Granola Butter Banana Muffins

Nut Free, Egg Free and Gluten Free Healthy Banana Bread Muffins

I always love being able to incorporate my favorite brands into one recipe. I also love finding alternative ways to adjust baking mixes because that's truly how the best collaborations and creations arise. This recipe has become one of my absolute favorites to make and uses GoNanas allergen-friendly banana bread mix and Oat Haus allergen-friendly granola butter.

This recipe gets a checkmark from my brother who is the biggest banana bread critic because he’s obsessed with my mom’s classic basic banana bread recipe (which I’ll post on the blog soon). Plus, he’s the one with all the allergies, so I love when I’m able to make something everyone can eat.

And when I say he loves it... There’s a reason why it's hard for me to photograph my banana muffins because he gets to them before I do!

This recipe is perfect as a pre-workout, breakfast, dessert, and/or snack option! I always love to pair with Greek yogurt, a smoothie or have it as a quick snack at work. It also takes zero time to whip up and we can always appreciate that.

You’ll need:

- GoNanas Original Banana Bread Mix (CODE OH108USGFMDQXL saves you 10%)

- 3 Bananas

- 2 tbsp milk of choice. I use lactose free 2% dairy milk.

- 1 to 2 tbsp Oat Haus Original Granola Butter ( CODE KATIEKREATES saves you 10%)

- 2 tbsp Greek Yogurt

- 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees before starting and prep a muffin tray of 12. You can spray if necessary, use a non-sticking pan or add cupcake liners to the tray.

I always like to start by grabbing a mini bowl (like a plastic cereal bowl) and mashing the bananas. Since this recipe calls for 3 bananas, I do recommend mashing one banana at a time instead of throwing it all into one bowl to mash at once. Riper bananas are prime for baking, but it's also okay if they aren’t perfectly browning. If you need more assistance with mashing bananas, you can slice the banana before tossing it into a bowl to mash.

Next up, grab your medium mixing bowl and add the 3 mashed bananas, 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, 2 tbsp of Greek yogurt (I use the Two Good Yogurt Vanilla flavor), and your 1 to 2 tbsp of Oat Haus Original Granola Butter. The mix does already contains brown sugar in it, and the granola butter has some natural sugars with the maple syrup. However, If you need it to be sweeter you can add more granola butter or some maple syrup into the batter.

Once you whisk those ingredients to smooth then add in your GoNanas banana bread mix and continue whisking the batter until smooth.

Pour the batter in your muffin pan and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

Give this recipe a try and feel free to switch it up by using all the different GoNanas banana bread flavors and the different Oat Haus Granola Butter flavors.
